About

I grew up in Pownal, Maine and moved to North Carolina when I was 18 to attend Warren Wilson College, where I majored in Ceramics and Sculpture. During my time at Warren Wilson I worked in the fiber arts studio managing the natural dye garden and learning to weave. The culmination of my undergraduate work was the ceramic textile project, which will be ongoing.

After graduating from Warren Wilson I spent a brief amount of time at Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts in Newcastle, Maine before moving to Seagrove, North Carolina to begin an apprenticeship with Daniel Johnston.
